Ford Community Impact Fellowship
Application deadline April 14
A virtual fellowship that brings together civic and entrepreneurial minded students worldwide. Participants will meet like-minded peers and participate in design thinking workshops to help create ideas that solve community needs. Open to students who have participated on teams that have received Ford College Community Challenge or Ford Community Corps grants.
Motor City Kares
Application deadline April 16
Ford Fund, Delta Dental, Kare Mobile and Lightship Foundation join forces to mobilize quality dental care in Detroit. This joint initiative is an opportunity for a minority dentist to win a $150,000 Ford Transit mobile dental office to provide dental services to children and families in low-income communities. Prior to receiving the keys to a mobile dental clinic, retrofitted with a suite of modern dental technologies, the contest winner will attend an entrepreneurship bootcamp.
HBC-You Mobility Challenge
Application is extended until April 16
The Ford HBC-You Mobility Challenge invites students, alumni, faculty and administrators at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) to submit an innovative proposal that addresses a mobility need on campus or in their community for a chance to receive a one time grant of $25,000 or $10,000 to implement their project.
Men of Courage Game Changer Award
Nomination deadline April 17
In collaboration with Jerome Bettis and The Bus Stops Here Foundation, Ford Fund is seeking nominations for organizations that go above any beyond to advance the narrative of African American men – the mission of Ford Fund’s Men of Courage initiative.
Ford Blue Oval Scholars 2021
Nomination deadline April 30
Ford Fund launches its 13th annual Ford Blue Oval Scholars program awarding the achievements of graduating seniors from various Detroit-area high schools. Additionally, past recipients of this Ford Blue Oval Scholarship may apply to receive $1,000 of gap funding per year for their sophomore through senior years of higher-education pursuits.
