Henry Ford Academy is a different kind of high school. When it opened more than 20 years ago on the grounds of The Henry Ford – a National Historic Landmark founded by the legendary auto pioneer – this innovative learning center became the nation’s first charter school created jointly by a global corporation, public education and a major nonprofit cultural institution.

With support from Ford Fund, Henry Ford Academy is today preparing students for the future with strong academics, project-based learning, problem-solving tools and real-world experiences focused on innovation, creativity and the essential skills needed for college and career success.
